Tibet Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon Tour
Yearlung tsangpo Grand Canyon is renowned for its longest and deepest valley in the world. Her turbulent rapids, arduous gorge, skyscraping peaks, exuberant forests are full of attraction. Due to the limit of the fiece environment and poor transpoatation, the Grand Canyon was only accessed by seldom scientist’s teams. Located in the Grand Canyon, the namchebawa peak means “the burning peak" in tibetan. Though it’s the 15th peak around the world (altitude 7782m), the comparative altitude is 4800m, you can have an intense eye impact at foot of the peak. And also the fog and cloud add more to its mystery.
Itinerary
Day 01Fly to Lhasa
Arrive at Lhasa Gonggar airport which at a elevation of 3000 meters, drive to Lhasa urban, en route visit Brahmaputra valley, Buddha Sculpture made 11th century and Tibetan village etc. on the drive to Lhasa and check in the Hotel , Free and Have rest in this afternoon. Dinner by yourself. No tour guide service whole day except the Tibetan guide will pick up you at Lhasa airport.
Day 02Lhasa
Urban full day tour Lhasa urban tour attraction: Potala Palace, Norbulingka - the Summer Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Ramoche temple, Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery are all located in Lhasa urban. Overnight in Lhasa,
Day 03Lhasa – Basongcu - Bayi
After breakfast, head to Lake Basongcuo, which is the national forest park, after we’ll visit the "taizhao" old city, (original name Jiangda), which is the converge point of ancient Chuang-Tibet road, tsing-tibet road. The"mainstay" is located in the middle stream of niyang river, accompanied with turbulent torrent and steep valley.
Day 04Bayi - Lulang
Forest sea-Bayi after breakfast, sightseeing on the view stage, you drive to the center pier of yalong tsangpo scenery area, en rout sightseeing holy spring, king of the mulberry trees, the celestial burial platform, and then embark the yacht heading for Dapai town, watching the water burial platform. After Lunch, the essence of this itinerary finally unveiled today. The first bend of yarlung tsangpo river and namche barwa peak are breath taxingly imposing. You can take photos by the Grand Canyon monument. Then return to Bayi, pass by the giant cypress trees.
Day 05Bayi - Lhasa
After breakfast, return to Lhasa
Day 06Breakfast at the hotel and depart for the airport.

Useful Information
Shuttle Service between hotels and Airport/Train Station:
As for Lhasa Gongar airport is 70km from the downtown, it is hard for us to arrange free shuttle service at any given time.
So, our travel agency can only offer free shuttle service to pick up/drop off tourists between hotels and Gongga airport twice a day at a designated time. Some of the tourists may have to wait for others for a longtime beyond our designated time.
The free airport pick-up time is as follows on the day the itinerary begins:
Pick up tourists around 12:20 pm ( for flights arrival at airport before 12:20pm) Please join on this time.
The free airport drop time is as follows on the day the itinerary closes:
Pick up tourists from hotel around 11:00am (for flights which depart after 13:30pm)
All the shuttle service from/to the train station on the date of tourists’ arrival and departure would be free.
Exception
If tourists want shuttle service not included in the designated time frame or they prefer not to wait for the free shuttle service, they are required to pay extra 50USDollar/airport for airport shuttle bus service, which needs a report to travel consultant when booking the tour. If any clients need private vehicle pick up or drop off. It is 2USDollar per kilometer and its 140kms.
