Ltd is a well known government licensed travel agency in Nepal and accepts your reservations /booking under the following terms and conditions, before confirm the trip to Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet and India through our Company.
Our Terms & Conditions
Terms and Condition to make reservation / Booking with Across Himalaya
01: PHYSICAL FITNESS: Good health and physical fitness is required on all trips. We recommend a physical examination for all trekkers on extended treks.
02: TRAVEL INSURANCE: You must purchase comprehensive travel insurance package against medical, natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, trip cancellation etc. This is strongly suggested to all our esteemed clients. All costs for emergency evacuation must be paid in cash in Nepal unless an insurance company has agreed to pay the costs on your behalf.
03: TOUR AMENDMENT: To make alterations of any trek / tour itinerary, prior notice is requested. You’re advised to stay in touch with us thus. But occasionally, you may be obliged to do so en route under certain circumstance for instance bad weather etc.
04: YOU’RE PERSONAL BELONGINGS: On any account, we’re not answerable for any loss or damage of your luggage or property belonging to you even when shouldered by porters, ponies or vehicles. That means your personal possessions, luggage are at your risk at the times.
05: PAPERS AND DOCUMENTS: All necessary documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visa, necessary permits etc. We’re not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departs on the absent of essential papers and documents.
06: SUPPLEMENT CHARGE: On our trekking and tour packages, rooms or tents are provided in twin sharing basis. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed to client who does not have another tour participant to share room / tent with.
07: PAYMENT: If your balance is not paid at the specified time (unless previously arranged with us in writing) we reserve the right to cancel your booking. Your booking (if we are able to do so) will be confirmed on receipt of your deposit of certain Percent of the price of the Programs. You will be invoiced for the remainder of the cost, which is payable before the tour departure.
08: DOWN PAYMENT: to secure place, 20% down payment is required to make in advance as per the company policy.
09: HOW TO PAY YOUR DEPOSIT: We except Traveler's Cheque / Wire Transfer / Visa or Mater Card / Western Union / Cash - US Dollar - Euro - Pound - Japanese Yen - Hong Kong Dollar - Australian Dollar - Singapore Dollar - Etc.
10: PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARDS: Visa and Master cards are widely accepted in Nepal. So they are our preferred credit cards. American express, JCB and other major credit cards are also accepted but at times they are less convenient. Please check with us before payment.
Note: For payment by credit cards from your home location (not a face to face transaction) you can scan and mail us a signed authorization form with your card number, expiry date, CVV2 code, photocopies of both sides of your credit card and the copy your passport pages containing your personal details and your signature and payment amount. That you are supposed to pay the bank charges (4 % in Nepal) while making payments by credit cards by yourself. for more details you can click here.
11: CANCLE THE BOOKING: If you cancel your booking, your deposit will not be refunded. However, provided you notify us of your cancellation before your final payment is due; your deposit may be transferred to another tour listed in this web site at any time period.
12: REFUND CHARGE: If you cancel your booking after you have paid for the holiday in full and less than 10 weeks before departure the following charges are applicable (calculated on the day written notification is received by us and expressed as a percentage of the total tour price)
If you cancel the trip 6 weeks before departure 0% (deposit non-refundable)
If you cancel the trip one month before departure 25%
If you cancel the trip 3 weeks before departure 35%
If you cancel the trip two weeks before departure 45%
If you cancel the trip one week before departure 65%
If you cancel the trip three days before departure 85%
If you cancel the trip on same before departure 100%
(Note: In above cancellation policy implement by Across Himalaya but if your adventure tour, trekking , climbing , expedition will be extend without any cancellation charge till one year and cost will be determined accordingly if only cancel the trip two weeks before)
13: ACCOMUDATION: Although we are trying to arrange your hotel room according to your requests, bed type and smoking preferences are not guaranteed.
14: TOUR LEADER/GUIDE: The tour leader or local ground operator who represents Across Himalaya has overriding authority on our tours. By signing our booking form, you agree to do this. If you commit any illegal act on a tour with us or if in the opinion of the tour leader or ground operator your behavior is detrimental to the safety and welfare of the group as a whole you may be asked to leave the tour without any right to refund.
15: CONTACT/LOCATION: The contents of this web site have been carefully compiled and to our best belief at the time of publication facts given are correct and describe fully and honestly the tours and expeditions offered. Any changes will be notified to you as soon as possible.
16: GROUP SIGE: On signing the booking form you show your willingness to accept our terms and conditions. On accepting your booking we agree to carry out our obligations to you as defined in our web site. By proceeding with this reservation, /booking you agree to all terms and conditions, including in the Customer Agreement.
01: LIMITATIONS: This website is for your personal and commercial use; in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement, and as a condition of your use you warrant and represent to Across Himalaya Tours & Treks Pvt. Ltd. that you will not use this website for any illegal purpose or for any purpose that is prohibited by the terms and conditions of this agreement. Specifically, you may not modify copy, distribute, transmit, publish, display, license, create derivative works from or sell any product, services, information or software obtained from this website.
02: YOU’RE WARRANTIES: You warrant that you are at least 18 years old and posses the legal authority to enter into this agreement and to use this website in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement. You agree to be financially responsible for all of your use of this website. You also warrant that all information supplied by you in using this website is true and accurate.
03: CONTACT IFORMATION: A contract will exist after Across Himalaya accepts your reservation by sending you a reservation details with the full service explanation.
04: COMMUNICATIONS: According to the customers’ requests; Across Himalaya Tours & Treks Pvt. Ltd can communicate by sending email and/or fax. You agree that all notices, disclosures, agreements and other communications that we provide to you electronically or by fax satisfy any legal requirements that communications be in writing.
