Jiri Everest Base Camp Trekking

Jiri Everest Base Camp trek need experience and a good physical health condition. This trek starts from Jiri valley (1905m). The treks is very interesting walking along with its panoramic view of Everest 8848m, Cho Oyu 8152m, Lhotse 8516m, Makalu 8463m and Ama Dablam 6456m. However, the trail from Jiri to Namche, though not long on mountain views, does pass through numerous interesting villages that are now visited by a small number of trekkers each year.

Through the famous Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar, Tengboche one of the oldest Buddhist Monastery, Kunde Khumjung etc The aim of this trek is to climb Kala Patthar from where the southwest face of Everest can be clearly seen, as well as aside Trekking trip to Everest Base Camp. The return trek leads to Lukla for the flight back to Kathmandu. Settlement of mixed ethnic group like Brahman, Chhetri, Magar, and Tamang in the low land and Sherpa in highland of Solukhumbu Everest region, Jiri to Everest base camp trek cover low land from Jiri to highland Kalapathar 5545m.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu/ Nepal/ transfer to hotel
Day 02: Full day guided sightseeing-visit Nepal’s main sightseeing spots
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Jiri by bus/car/van and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 04: Trek Jiri (1905m) to shivalaya (1767m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 05: Trek shivalaya (1767m) to Bhandar (2194m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 06: Trek Bhandar (2194m) to Sete (2573m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 07: Trek Sete  (2573m) to Junbensi  (2675m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 08: Trek Junbensi(2675m) to Nunthala (2050m) / and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 09: Nunthala (2050m)  to Payu (2939m) and stay at teahouse lodge

Day 19: Trek Pangboche to Namche Bazar (3440m) and stay at teahouse lodge  
Day 20: Trek Namche Bazar (3440m) to Phakding (5310m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 21: Trek Phakding (5310m) to Lukla (2840m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 22: Lukla (2840m) to Kathmandu by fly and transfer to hotel.
Day 23: Free day in Kathmandu for personal activities or join onward program or final departure
