Gokyo Valley Trekking

Gokyo valley as we ascend up to 5500m approx is considered a traditional trek that offers magnificent views of the different mountain peaks. The Gokyo Peak (5480m) ascent is the one of the highlights of this circuit. an altitude of 8000m such as Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu which are clearly visible from Gokyo Ri above Gokyo Lake. We stay here to savor the incredible scenery, including magnificent views of Everest (8848m), Makalu, Cho Oyo (8153m) and Lhotse (8511m).

We flight from Kathmandu to lukla adventure really begins. the Ngozumpa Glacier is  the largest in Nepal's Himalayas The image of this region is associated with the soaring views of the most popular mountains in Nepal and One of the most remarkable features is the views of the tremendous ice ridge between Cho Oyu and Gyachung (2922m) located in Khumbu region.  Along the trek we will pass Buddhist monasteries with the views of Everest and other snow towering mountains getting closer by the day.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu/ Nepal/ transfer to hotel
Day 02: Full day guided sightseeing-visit Nepal’s main sightseeing spots
Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2800m), start trek to Phakding (2610m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 04: Trek Phakding (2610m) to Namche Bazar (3440m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar (3440m) Day hike to Khumjung village and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 06: Trek Namche Bazaar (3440m) to Dole (4040m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 07: Trek Dole (4040m) to Machermo (4480m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 08: Trek Machermo (4480m) to Gokyo (4750m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 09: Exploration day trip to Gokyo RI (5483) and back to Gokyo stay at teahouse lodge
Day 10: Trek Gokyo (4750m) to Forste Thanga (5140m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 11: Trek Forste Thanga (3400m) to Manju (2800m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 12: Trek Manju (2800m) to Lukla (2804m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 13: Early in the morning, transfer to airport and fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu stay in hotel
Day 14: Free day in Kathmandu for personal activities or join onward program or final departure
