Everest Base Camp Trek

Everest Base Camp (5,360m) trek is one of the most popular trekking routes in northern part of the Himalayas region and is visited by thousands of trekkers every year. These camps are rudimentary campsites on Mt. Everest that are used by mountain climbers during their ascent and descent. Since the very first expeditions to the Nepalese side of Everest in the 1953, to reach this part of the Himalaya within a limited time, we have devised this two week trek to Everest Base Camp which runs directly from Lukla. Climbers typically rest at base camp for several days for acclimatization to reduce the risks and severity of altitude sickness. Base camps usually consist of long lines of tents with food, blankets, light and warn clothes.

Everest Base Camp trek is a very well known mountain treks in Nepal, starts at the upper Phakding and follows the Dudh Kosi valley which climbs up to the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazar .it is possible to go by flight from Ktm to lukla or Shangboche or walking from jiri, a bustling bazaar that’s a junction for trekkers, the local Sherpa and expeditions en route to the Mt. Everest.

Itinerary of Everest Circuit Trekking

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu/ Nepal/ transfer to hotel
Day 02: Full day guided sightseeing-visit Nepal’s main sightseeing spots
Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2800m), start trek to Phakding (2610m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 04: Trek Phakding (2610m) to Namche Bazaar (3500m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar (3500m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 06: Trek Namche Bazaar (3500m) to Tengboche (3850m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 07: Trek Tengboche (3850m) to Dingboche (4350m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 08: Exploration day trip to Chhukung valley and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 09: Trek Dingboche (4350m) to Lobuche (4950m) and stay at teahouse lodge 
Day 10: Trek Lobuche to Ghorakshep (5140m)/Visit EBC and stay at teahouse lodge 
Day 11: Visit Kalapatthar (5545m)/Mt Everest view/trek to Pangboche (4030m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 12: Trek Pangboche (5300m) to Namche Bazar (3500m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 13: Trek Namche Bazar (3500m) to Phakding (2600m) and stay at teahouse lodge
Day 14: After breakfast from Phakding Village trek back to Lukla and stay at teahouse lodge 
Day 15: Early in the morning, transfer to airport and fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu stay in hotel 
Day 16: Free day in Kathmandu for personal activities or join onward program or final departure
